Embrace the Miles: Join the MORC 2025 Challenges!

As we step into 2025, there’s no better time to lace up your running shoes and set new goals! The Mount Olive Running Club is thrilled to announce our 2025 Running Challenges—a year-long series designed to motivate, inspire, and bring together runners of all levels. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a casual jogger, these challenges are for you!

Kick Off January with 31 Miles

Our first challenge is simple yet impactful: Run at least 31 miles in January! That’s just 1 mile a day, or a few longer runs sprinkled throughout the month. This challenge is perfect for building consistency, shaking off the holiday sluggishness, and starting the year strong.

We’ve even created a printable Challenge Calendar to help you track your progress. Check off each mile as you go and feel the satisfaction of watching your hard work add up. Whether you’re running solo, with friends, or with our club, each mile counts toward something bigger—your 2025 running journey.

How to Participate

  1. Sign Up: Join the challenge by joining our club on Strava.

  2. Download the Calendar: Print the attached challenge template calendar to track your miles.

  3. Run Your Miles: Log your miles at your own pace, whether you prefer running daily or tackling a few longer runs.

  4. Share Your Progress: Use the hashtag #MORCMiles to share your journey and connect with other participants.

  5. Celebrate: At the end of January, we’ll celebrate everyone’s achievements—big and small—at our group run!
